1. Who we are and what these terms cover
The CrewPoint website and service (the platform) are provided by the following operator (the operator, we or us).
the CrewPoint operator
Contact us: support@crewpoint.work.
The terms govern use of the platform by specialists, teams, organisations and visitors. For users acting in the course of a business, the terms also meet the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2019/1150 on the transparency of online platforms. The processing of personal data is described in privacy policy.
2. Role of the platform
The platform helps specialists, teams and organisations find each other and get in touch: through profiles and pages, projects and vacancies, responses and personal messages.
The operator is not a party to contracts between users and is not an employer, staffing agency or insurer. The operator does not guarantee the quality of work, attendance or the accuracy of users' information.
3. No employment relationship
Using the platform does not create an employment relationship between the operator and users, nor does it in itself create one between users. The parties determine the legal form of their engagement themselves and are responsible for assessing it, including under the Dutch rules on the nature of employment relationships (Wet DBA) and similar rules in other countries.
The parties are themselves responsible for taxes, social security contributions, work permits, insurance, occupational health and safety, and safety on site.
4. Account and organisations
- An account can be created by a person with legal capacity who is at least 18 years old. Each account belongs to one person.
- Provide accurate information and keep your password secret. If you suspect unauthorised access, tell support and end your sessions in settings, under «Sessions».
- You can also sign in with a Google account if that option is enabled. It is optional.
- The account role is specialist, team or organisation. A team or organisation page is created by its representative, who becomes its owner.
- Publishing a profile in the directory is a separate decision by the profile owner. A member's profile is only shown on a team page with their consent.
- The professions, languages and proficiency levels, and the certificates listed in a profile, do not mean the operator has verified qualifications.
5. Projects, vacancies and responses
- An organisation can publish projects and vacancies.
- A specialist can respond to a project or vacancy; a team can respond to a project. A message can be attached to a response. The organisation that receives a response sees the responder's page and message.
- A response is not a booking and does not bind the organisation.
6. Personal messages, availability and notifications
- Personal messages are between two users. You can block the other person.
- Availability marks in the calendar show which days you are free. Missing data is not treated as confirmed availability.
- We send service emails and notifications about events in your account. We do not send promotional mailings.
7. Catalogue and display order
In the catalogue you can choose filters and the sort order. Missing data is not treated as confirmed availability.
The display order does not depend on payment, level or any relationship with the operator. There is no paid promotion in the catalogue.
8. Prohibited conduct and reporting violations
- post unlawful, discriminatory, offensive or misleading information;
- create fake profiles, organisations, projects or vacancies;
- use other people's data and materials without the right to do so;
- circumvent access restrictions, collect data by automated means or disrupt the platform;
- send advertising or spam through platform messages.
Anyone can report illegal content: write to support (support@crewpoint.work) and include the link, a description and the reason. We handle reports diligently and without undue delay, and we inform you of our decision with a statement of reasons. You can appeal a moderation decision within six months.
9. Restriction and termination of access
We may restrict features, hide content, or suspend or close an account in the event of a breach of these terms or the law, at the request of an authority, or to protect other users. We state the reason for the decision and how to appeal it.
We notify business users of a complete termination of access at least 30 days in advance, unless the law or a serious breach requires an immediate decision.
You can stop using the platform and delete your account at any time. Obligations already arising between users and the data retention periods stated in the privacy policy remain in force.
10. Disputes and support
Disagreements between users about work and arrangements are first settled between the parties themselves. Support helps with questions about data and features, but does not act as an arbitrator and does not issue binding decisions.
You can contact support at support@crewpoint.work.
11. Liability
The platform is only a channel for contact and promotion. The operator takes no part in relations between users and is not liable for users' information or actions, their contracts and payments, the performance of work or safety on site.
The platform is provided as is. We aim to keep it running reliably but do not guarantee that it will be free of interruptions and errors, and we are not liable for losses arising from the use of the platform or from being unable to use it.
This does not exclude liability that cannot be excluded by law, for example for intent or gross negligence.
12. User content
Rights to the texts and photos you upload remain with the user. Upload only materials you have the right to store and show; take into account the rights of the people depicted and of authors. CrewPoint's visibility setting does not replace any permissions you need. The user permits the operator to store and show the materials within the chosen visibility and the applicable restrictions.
13. Reports
Send complaints about how the platform works or about an operator decision to support (support@crewpoint.work). We acknowledge receipt, handle your report free of charge and usually respond within 14 days. If we need more time, we’ll tell you when to expect a response.
This does not limit your right to go to the competent court or a supervisory authority.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes are heard by the competent court where the operator is established, unless mandatory consumer protection rules provide otherwise. Consumers keep the protection of the mandatory rules of their country of residence.
15. Portfolio
Portfolio images are added and shown by the owner of the profile or page. A portfolio does not mean the operator has verified qualifications or authorship, nor is it a recommendation by the operator. The owner can hide an item.
A deleted image is no longer served through CrewPoint, including by direct link. This does not make it possible to recall copies that other people have already saved. You can report a violation through a report on the page or image.
16. Change of terms
The new version is intended for new registrations. The saved version of a previously accepted consent is not rewritten. For existing accounts, the established notification procedure and notice periods for changing the terms apply; publishing a version does not in itself mean it has been accepted.
Previous versions of the terms: terms-2026-10-19, terms-2026-09
Current version terms-2026-11-01 of 1 November 2026. We notify you of material changes in advance by email or in the interface; business users at least 15 days in advance. If you don’t agree with the new version, you can stop using the platform before it takes effect.
